Stateless
I attempt to make sense of the tangled social constructs of my Soviet-Jewish- American identity by interpreting personal memories, family narratives, and historical contexts. The work recreates a domestic interior—not of any actual home I inhabited, but a composite space with reconstructed photographs and artifacts.
